Very controversial Sabbir re Men’s Team but I agree on your observations on Wonen’s Team. Very exciting. They gave a very good account of themselves. I was pleased to join you all at the WACA. Many thanks for my new Presidential Bangladesh scarf.

We needed some cheerleaders! But I saw BAAWA president also kept everyone entertained with his dancing! Good on him and Zia!
BD Men’s team is becoming a ‘joke’ ….. only good at home ground and against teams like Zimbabwe and likes! But there is plenty of potential in the Young Tigers and Women’s team and they will prosper if they remain professional not becoming political football!

Raju vai/Monsoor vai,
I have watched over 50 matches of our men’s national team but last night was the first to watch our National Women’s cricket team.
Although we have lost at the end but it is probably the most enjoyable match I ever watched in any stadium. A big thanks to our local community to make it memorable and enjoyable like this.
Best wishes for our women’s team for the upcoming matches!
Cheers from Zia

My Dear Fellow Community Members ,
What a weekend we had !
First of all , I would like to thank each and every one of the Participants on the Ekushey and IMLD night , organised by BAAWA .
Secondly , the Audiences were brilliant as before .
Our Team BAAWA , especially the Cultural Team, Rakin , Megha , Subah and our many well wishers ( many of you always extend your hands for BAAWA , unconditionally ) , you showed us , what excellent team work and coordination could bring in .
Unfortunately, we missed many of the regulars on that evening .
Your presence would make the evening more colourful .
I would like to thank the other Multicultural Groups and individuals ( performers and guests ) and you gave the evening a special flavour , which we all enjoyed …
About the food which were on sale , I can promise , we will be more careful about them in future
Now , It comes to the MEGA EVENT ( Women’s WC T20 ) .
You guys formed a Small Bangladesh in The Heart of WACA .
What a tremendous support the Team received from you all .
Each and every one of you were so passionate and supportive , it’s hard to explain .
Our Team played well and we all left the Ground with our Head holding high .
Our kids took the evening to a different level .
I got very emotional to see their love for Bangladesh .
Love you kids.
You were the heart of our contingent.
The credit goes to each and every individual parents for bringing up your kids in the right manner ..
By the way , the Team Manager of the BD Team Mr Tawhid called to convey their gratitude to you all .
They were overwhelmed with the support they received from the Supporters .
Wished them all the very best for the rest of the tournament.
I would like to thank Perth Bengal Club , especially my brothers Russell and Mansoor , for their initiative in the last few days .
I believe, these small small things brings us close as a community and allows us to grow .
As a Community , we would like to grow from strength to strength.
Love you all .
