Banglar Mela in Western Australia is a vibrant community ...
The Bangladesh Australia Association of Western Australia Inc. (BAAWA) was founded in 1982 by residents and resident students from Bangladesh in Perth to foster and promote understanding, and friendship between Bangladeshi Australians in Western Australia and the rest of the community, including Australians from all other ethnic backgrounds, through the exchange of ideas and culture.
BAAWA organises recreational activities including sporting and cultural events and excursions for members and provides a forum for them to exchange information, communicate ideas and promote community welfare.
Check our current and upcoming events. We organise a variety of cultural and community events throughout the year. Your participation can play a vital role in making these events successful. You can also participate in our volunteering activities.
BAAWA members can update their personal details through the dedicated member portal. Individuals who wish to join BAAWA can also register and submit their information through the same portal. Please use the link below to access the portal.
The Bangladeshi community in Western Australia is growing rapidly, with members contributing across many sectors and playing an important role in the state’s economy. We proudly embrace diversity and foster a spirit of respect, harmony, and shared celebration.
