Every year BAAWA organises the Bangladesh Fair, an event where the Bengali New Year is ushered and celebrated in a traditional way to share the joy and rich cultural heritage of Bangladesh with members of different communities living in Western Australia. The event will include live musical performances, dance items, comedy show, fashion show and as well as children rides and other activities. Stalls around the venue will sell traditional dresses, handicrafts, various products, food and drinks. Large number of people from different communities mingle around and enjoy the day. The event promotes understanding of cultures of Bangladesh and other South Asian nations. The event details is as follows –
