Qurbani 2019

We are happy to announce that alike last year we are going to organise Qurbani for 2019, Inshallah. To make the entire process smoother and faster we are hiring an additional facility. Inshallah, we will organise cow, lamb and goat for your Qurbani. As usual, we do not provide any fixed price as the price of the Qurbani animal can only be confirmed after the purchase of the animal from the auction. The cost of Qurbani animal will depend on the size & weight of the animal (particularly for cow). However, the indicative prices are as follows-
- Cow share- approx. $180-$210..
- Lamb full- approx $170-200.
- Goat full- approx $195- $225.

How we buy Qurbani Animals:
We buy animal from the auction by using a licensed contractor.
The Type of Animal:
COW: We always target decent size animals, however, sometimes it becomes impossible when the auction is busy, and the quantity of animal is quite low in the auction. We usually buy a mixture of cow, Yearling Grain (YG) beef, Yearling Steer (YS) beef. It is completely out of our control to choose only a specific type of animal from the auction. Therefore, the quality of meat may vary from animal to animal.
LAMB: During the time of the rainy season, the size of the lambs varies between 15-20 kgs.
GOAT: It is always difficult to get goat during the rainy season. We will try our best to accommodate your request, however, we strongly recommend you to keep a second choice in case we failed to organise goat. We will notify you the status of the goat at least a few days ago of the Quarbani..
The slaughtering &meat processing time:
Qurbani animal will be sacrificed on the Eid day after Eid salah Inshallah (based on Moon sighting). Within two hours of the animal being slaughtered, the animal will be placed in a refrigerator for chilling to destroy pathogens growth and keep meat safe for human consumption. This is the regulation of MLA..
Once we receive the slaughtered animal (usually the day after the slaughtering) we will start processing meat straightaway. We will be in touch with individuals via text messages regarding the time for delivery or pick up. In 2018, we completed all deliveries within 2 days. Nevertheless, we encourage you to allow some additional time for this entire process to avoid personal disappointment.
How to place your order: –
Please place your order by sending e-mail only to orders@tntgroceries.com.au by 25th of July 2019. No order will be accepted after this date.
We strongly encourage you to place order via e-mail.
You must provide us the below information clearly when you are placing your order. If you have a large group, it is recommended to nominate a coordinator and provide us the coordinator name & contact number separately.

If you have a group of people, please let us know via e-mail ASAP. We will send you an excel spreadsheet to fill out for your group. We also need a co-ordinator for a group of people.
After receiving your order(s), we will arrange groups and notify you. Your order will be attended as First In First Out basis.

Deposit:
We need a deposit of $150/share/goat/lamb along with your order. We will adjust the rest of the payment once we confirm the purchase, prior to the Qurbani.
You can send your deposit to- This N that, bsb-016016, Acc no-296045936. Please mention your name as reference while you deposit the money and send us a copy of your receipt via e-mail.
Free Delivery:
We will provide complimentary free delivery in the following areas-
Cockburn and its surrounding suburbs, Harrisdale, Piara Waters, Cannington, Queens Park, Maddington, Kewdale, Victoria Park, Willetton, Riverton, Wattle Grove, Canning vale, Southern River, Como and Bartram* (*certain areas only).. However, deliveries for our distant customers can also be possible with certain conditions, please call us for more details.
You delivery will be dropped in a nominated location specified for your area. We will advise you the location detail for your area once the grouping is completed.
