It's just 3 more nights and then we have the most anticipated BAAWA event – Bangladesh Fair 2021 (Banglar Mela) on this Saturday, 10th April at Civic Centre Park & Amphitheatre, Cannington from 10:00 AM.
More than 6.5 hours of cultural program, over 20 stalls with lots of bangladeshi food items, clothing, photo-booth, henna, face-painting, bouncy castle and other products and businesses – an event not to be missed! Yummy food items include lots of street food variety (eg, chotpoti, fuchka, halim, bhapa pitha, mezbani platter, singara, rolls, bangladeshi sweets, masala tea, lassi, jhal-muri, biriyani, kids' nuggets & chips, burgers, slushy, fairy floss etc). PLEASE bring cash!

- Please register your entry either by scanning the SafeWA QR code on your smartphone or by manual registry
- Please arrive by 10:00 to make the Mongol Shobhajatra as colorful as possible.
- Please bring appropriate cash, as the nearby ATM is a bit far away.
- Please do not park at the reserved car park bays. See attached parking map.
- To participate in Dress as you like, participate in the Mongol Shovajatra, get your photo taken by the roving photographers between 10:30 am to 12:00pm and report to Dr Tania Urmee next to the stage at 12.10pm.
- To participate in the Children's Art Competition (topic – Beautiful Bangladesh), please report to Mr. Sharif Ahmed by 11:45. Competition will run from 12:00 – 12:30 in two groups (kindy – yr3 & yr4-yr7).
- There will be 5 toilets (2 fixed, 3 disabled). Please use them sensibly and do not put any rubbish, nappies etc to block them.
- Please follow the instructions of our volunteers and security personnel.
- There will be at least 15 Hand sanitizing stations throughout the mela ground, please use them responsibly.
- Please stand in line when you are queueing up for food. We have organized plenty of food for all of you.
- Please supervise your child(ren) at all times, especially when they are in the bouncy castle and near the stage area.
- There will be Covid-safety Marshal – please follow their instructions to maintain social distancing.
- In case of an injury, please locate the first aid stall (see attached site-plan) and report immediately.
- Finally, please come in big numbers, invite your friends and enjoy the day.
