Dear Community Members.
SHUVO NOBOBORSHO!
The much anticipated BAAWA BANGLAR MELA 1425 is tomorrow! Please join us with your friends and families to welcome the Bengali New Year 1425 at Edinburgh Oval South, Curtin University from 10.30 to 4.00 pm. The location map is shown at the end of this email.
May I please request all to:
- Not to litter. Plenty of bins are placed at different locations on the venue for convenience.
- Please follow the sign marker for location of restrooms and ATM.
- First Aid Station will offer first aid and sun creams.
- The ‘lost and found’ point will be co-located with the registration pod (BAAWA Corner).
- Please approach BAAWA Volunteers for any concern/information. Twenty (20) BAAWA Volunteers will be available to respond to any needs. They will be easily identifiable with a badge marked ‘BAAWA Volunteers’.
- Don’t park on the verge of the oval or/and marked reserved spaces for BAAWA Volunteers. The venue offers plethora of parking spaces.
- All the food trucks/vans have EFTPOS facility but cash needed for the BAAWA food stalls and Drink Corner.
Let us welcome the new Bengali Year 1425 tomorrow with fun, frolic, food and true Bangladeshi Community spirit!
Warm regards
