Dear Community members
As you might know, the BAAWA United soccer team played in the Common Goal Championship Tournament. Our team played the Quarterfinal against Syrian team and we won by 2-0. We then made to play the Semifinal against Persian Team. Persian team was on the top place on the ladder-board in this tournament, so imagine how strong this team is! Unfortunately, we lost against them by 2-0. It was really hard to play two games one after another as you can imagine our players lost most of their energies in the first game.
Anyway, it was a wonderful experience playing with the different teams from the different community. Here are some photos from the final day.

It will be a day-long program organised by the Edmund Rice Centre WA. Halal sausage sizzles and drinks will be provided.
