Dear All,
The appeal for “ROHINGYA REFUGEE” collection drive has officially been closed on 10 November 2017.
On behalf of Al Falah Muslim Association, we made an appeal to the wider community to donate and attend a fund raising dinner on 14 October 2017 at Al Falah Masjid at Wattle Grove. We have had a huge response from the wider community on this noble cause.
Alhamdulliah! Our fund raising dinner and dua was well attended by the grace of almighty Allah. We have collected $5655 on that night ($ 5055 0n dinner night + $600 into my personal account). There were some requests to extend the donation appeal date and provide an account details for another few days from the community members. So we have extended the date until the 10 November 2017 for more participation. Based on this extended appeal, we have received $ 1530 into the Alfalah Muslim Association account, $250 into my account and $1070 in cash handover to me.
I am very pleased to let you know that we were able to raise total amount of $8505 ($5655+ $1530+ $ 250 + $ 1070) from the wider community members. It’s a huge response from all of us. All praise to Allah SWT for his blessings on this effort. Money will be transferred asap to the nominated account Insha’Allah.
As always our wonderful community members did an excellent effort to make it happen. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your efforts in contributing, cooking and serving delicious food, cleaning, providing cutleries and receiving guests and so on. Many thanks to all the Masjid Committee members for your help, commitment and dedication on this drive. May allah give us more rewards in this world and the hereafter (AMEEN). May I request you to join me to show our sincere appreciation for those who have done a wonderful work to make it a success.
