Further to Sohel’s comments- I would like to add few more comments here-

1. I absolutely missed Sohle’s performance on the day. If he was not contacted, it is very sad. If he was unavailable, then it’s fine.

2. I also expected Mithu’s performance on the day. If he was not contacted, it should be very sad too. If he was unavailable, then it’s fine.

Those two performers are definitely proven their ability in the past and they don’t need further attestation. At least we can give that much credit to them.

3. I come to know Nazrul vai wanted to perform something new but he was never responded or given the opportunity to show his ideas. Don’t know the resolution though. We should welcome new ideas.

Overall the program was outstanding and everyone involved should be appreciated for such a successful event. I didn’t feel cut off in any stage of the program. It followed through very well and ended nicely. Things can be better and there is no limit for it. We can learn from the past and improve every year.

This is my opinion only, just wanted to share.

I hope its not a big ask. Appreciate your response, which will help some performers to add values to BAAWA concert in future.

Thanks for your queries. We can again proudly affirm that BAAWA management is always transparent and accountable. There is no “I” or “me” in BAAWA. As a matter of fact, a community organisation like BAAWA will not be able to sustain for long if it becomes a closed/secret or exclusive organisation. We work as a team and in this particular instance, the cultural subcommittee (CSC) members finalised the items, performers and setup of the program based on the expressions of interest, auditions, past performances, program theme etc. etc. Given ACP is the flagship event of BAAWA, it was entirely within CSC’s discretion to take any decision in relation to the event as deemed appropriate.  The EOI email sent on 10^th of June had clearly stated that.

The long waited night had been over, the excitement of the performers; the relentlessly participation of the organizers and parents had been come up with a great achievement that made another BAAWA Annual Cultural event mesmerized and successful.

I would like to thank you all from bottom of my heart whoever was connected to this event, support and encourage us all time and also all spectators; your presence always motivate us and give us hope and strength to our future consignment.
