Dear Muzaffar bhai,
Thanks for compiling all this important information and for sharing it with the community.
Dear all,
It's very important that you spend some time to understand how it all works and please make every effort to complete the census as correctly as possible on 10th August. The Census is compulsory. Everyone who is staying in your household on Census night must be included. This includes visitors and babies. See here for more detail about who to include in your form.
Please remember, this is our opportunity to make ourselves count. Number matters, and we need to have an accurate representation of our community in this year's Census that will help us achieve more as a community in the coming days.
So, please take some time off your busy schedule, and do your part to complete the census on 10th August. Please ask your friends, families to do the same.
Kind regards,
Tasneemul Galib (Amit)

Dear Community Members.Every five years, Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) conducts a Census of Population and Housing (Census).Census night is 10 August 2021 and it is compulsory. I reckon we all have received a Census letter from ABS by now.To assist its multi-cultural communities, the City of Canning will hold two Census sessions at Riverton Library on Tuesday 10th and Tuesday 17th August from 1.30pm-3.30pm. The City has requested to share following information:
- There will be support provided in the following languages: Hindi, Punjabi, Mandarin, Tamil, Korean and Tagalog in these sessions and in-language assistance to anyone needing help to complete the Census. (I have requested the City to provide assistance in Bengali language and will update when I to hear back from them.)
- All are welcome to attend
- Please try and remember to bring your Census Letter with you to the sessions. These letters have been posted to every household in Australia.
- If you would like to complete the Census online, please bring a mobile device and your letter.
- If you would like to complete your form on paper, a hard copy of the Census can be issued to you at these sessions, please bring your letter.
