· Masks are required for people aged 8 years and over.
· People (16 years +) are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccinations when entering the venue either in a digital or paper-based form, along with approved identification ( if required) except who are exempted.
BAAWA volunteer's will be present at the Venue door and will check proof of COVID -19 vaccinations.

· Vendor: Jeny’s Fashion, Products: Designer Dresses’, Mens wear, Salwar kameez, Saree, Jewellery, Kids wear etc.
· Vendor: Eco-Utopia Decor (Inspiring green living), Products: Rugs, Storage Buskets, Planters, Macrame, Table accessories (table runner, placemats, caster set), Doormats, trivet sets etc.
· Vendor: Sree collections, Products: Fashion Jewelleries and clothing etc.
· Vendor: RISABATIS, Products: Clay Dinnerware set, Clay pottery, clay jewellery, kitchen accessories, Terracotta, women’s item, etc.
· Vendor: Stylish Anjoom, Products: Clothing
Take away food/Iftar will be available for purchase at the venue from 1:00pm. Please bring cash with you.
BAAWA BAAWA Drama and Short Film Festival:
BAAWA Cultural team and Social Welfare and Communication team would be presenting BAAWA Drama and Short Film Festival on 18 June 2022 at Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre. Tickets will be available at BAAWA corner to purchase tomorrow at Boishakhi Bazar.
Bengal arts would be showcasing drama “Bhoddornok”, an adaptation of “Le Bourgeois gentilhomme”. The drama would showcase local talents from the community and it would be directed by Sharmistha Saha and Biswojit Bose.
Social Welfare and Communication team has been working on short film project with Hidden Talents and Mini Philosopher from the community.
Ticket Price:
$10 for BAAWA financial members and students
$15 for BAAWA non-members
Seat occupying child requires ticket

My dear fellow Community Members,I hope you all are in good health .Despite the surge in the number of positive cases of COVID-19 in WA , we all are looking forward to the better time ahead.We are extremely sorry for postponing the Banglar Mela for this year , due to the COVID-19 situation in WA .BAAWA is delighted to organise the first ever“ BAAWA Boishakhi Bazar 2022” on Saturday 16 April 2022 at Maddington Community Centre Main Hall.Local Community Business Owners are setting up their stalls with non-food items e.g. Clothing, Handicrafts, Jewellery, Home Decors etc. at this Bazar to make your shopping, especially upcoming Eid shopping with traditional touch and style of Bangladesh.
