With immense plessure and pride I would like to let our Perth Bangladeshi community know that our very own Swarup Afsar and Pharmacy 777 Shoalwater team have won the NATIONAL AWARD for Pharmacy of the year 2023 in ENTIRE AUSTRALIA!!
In addition to the National award, Swarup and his Shoalwater team have also won Pharmacy of the year 2023 in Community Engagement!
Swarup and his team designed professional services from his Pharmacy to meet the needs of his elderly community- Hospital Discharge support, Sleep Apnoea services, Wound Care support, vaccinations and Transplant Module to name a few. The above services ensured Pharmacy 777 Shoalwater provided a different experience compared to a regular transactional business, and this is what was recognised in the National Award consideration.
2023 is the 2nd time that Swarup and his team have clean sweeped National Award for Pharmacy of the year. The first time was the year 2016 for Pharmacy of the year – Nollamara 777. In 2016 Swarup was also awarded Pharmacist of the year- making him the 1st and only pharmacist of Bangladeshi background to achieve this honour!
On behalf of the Perth Bangladeshi community I extend my heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Swarup and his team for not only putting Perth on the winner’s list but also representing our Bangladeshi community and Bangladesh with such pride and honour! Some photos are shared below.
