Dear Community Members.
Bangladesh Australia Association of Western Australia Inc. (BAAWA) is excited to announce the launch of its newly designed web site, which is live NOW and is located at the same address: www.baawa.org.au.
The new website has been crafted to reflect the community’s expectation and builds upon technology capable of addressing future needs. Designed with a fresh innovative appearance, the website has a plethora of features and information to assist the community members in a user-friendly format. A big thanks to Mohammed Tajuddin of Chittagong IT Solutions who has kindly volunteered to redesign the site.
Some new features of this exciting website are:
1) The ‘Perthbashi’ email group is linked to the website under 'Community News' section. Two most recent posts of this email group will also be visible at the bottom of every page of the website.
2) A ‘Breaking/Current News’ button is added in Home Page to highlight important news regarding community and BAAWA. In near future, this page will also accommodate a 'Perth Family Events Calendar' for things to do in Perth with children.
2) Under the ‘Resources’ section, useful information has been provided for new migrants and students. The ‘Resources’ section also provides a list of useful website links for all walks of life.
3) Members Portal (Online Membership Management System) has been included in ‘Membership’ section with information on categories and benefits of BAAWA membership.
4) Integrated social media buttons for BAAWA Facebook page and BAAWA YouTube channel to foster improved communication.
We will continually be expanding our online content to bring you updated and relevant information, so we encourage you to bookmark it, check back often and connect with us on Facebook and You Tube to receive notice when updates and new content are added.
We’re quite proud of it, but we know there’s still work to do. In the coming months, we hope to continue improving the site so that it best serves the Bangladeshi community in WA.
