My family had even worse experience. My parents, elder brother and maternal uncle were travelling at the same flight. So we made our total luggage as 120 kgs. But they said each one should have 30 kg each and it was not possible at the airport to redo the packing. Therefore we had to pay 360$ as the last bag was 10 kg extra for one person where as the other bags were less than 30 kg each.
They could have booked all those together, but they have told us after they sent those bags inside.
It was indeed a horrible experience. We had wheel chair entitlement in the ticket for both my parents but they hardly could arrange one chair with no one to push it. Fortunately we had my brother with my parents.

Dear Perthbashi,21st of Jan 2017 is the first time I traveled with Malindo Air from Perth to Dhaka and my experience is that it is one if the worst airlines I have ever came across. Flight was delayed from Perth and because of that I almost missed my connecting flight from KL to Dhaka. My main luggage is lost and I’m having to call Dhaka airports lost luggage department on 02 8901876 continously which is only open after 7 pm. Having no luck geting hold of anyone as the line seems to be busy all the time.My advice is think twice bebore you fly with Malindo Air and if you do make sure you have travel insurance.RegardsFahmid Imtiaz
