Dear Fellow Community Members, 

Just an update on our current situation. 

Whether we like it or not , we are gradually entering into the difficult phases of the current situation. 

I believe , we all are buckled up and calmly adapting with the ever changing situations , but , difficult times are not far . 

I would like to thank the hearty gestures of many of our valued Community Members at personal level and I believe, they have a huge impact on our lives . We really appreciate your kind attitude. 

Since we started with our plan to make ‘ Little effort for our Big Family ‘ , we had few enquires from some Community members , who are in a little bit of precarious situation . 

Some has lost their job and some are in difficulties to ensure their ongoing safe accomodation . 

I know , the Government has lots of plan for the residents . 

Unfortunately, that will be our last bit of straw to hang onto. 

I can cut down my food on the table . But , becoming unsure of the safe roof on top of my head ? 

It’s really heart breaking. 

So , my heartfelt request to our Community , if you are in a position to sublet , or you have any vacant investment properties, where you can accomodate the families in need ( where possible , on minimal rents ) , please come forward . 

At the same time, if anyone has any informations of prospective job opportunities  ( even part time) , please , let everyone know. 

Please , use the mode of contacts given in the flyer . 

Our very own Business Owners can take a bold steps in these regards and can give a big boost , if possible . 

Rest assured , ( the respondents and persons seeking help ) your identities will remain anonymous ( except to the involved parties ) . 

Need for raising fund might be needed , which is not our priority at present .. 

Let’s make sure, we all have a secured place to stay and a continuous source of earning . 

I believe , if we all are gelled together and show our true colours, we can manage to go through these difficult times. 

Looking forward to get you true support very soon .

It has been long eleven days since my last email to you .

Thank you for your words of appreciation in response to the last email. 

As we all know , the COVID-19 situation is getting worse by the hour and Australia is no different. 

Authorities are trying hard and implementing various restrictions to safeguard us . 

We all are very much aware of the rapid changes in situations and local laws . 

Even though they are affecting our daily life, we have to get accustomed to these changes . 

If we have family members or friends ( Australian Citizens or PR ) stranded overseas, please ask them to get in touch with their nearby Australian authorities and they should be able to assist them with their needs ( as per the PM’s speech over the weekend ) . 

Since my last email , we have received numerous request from the community members to assist us as volunteers and it shows the Inner strength / bondage of our Community. 

In the recent weeks, we have received several request for assistance from some of the community members and they have been assisted by the Volunteers . 

Rest assured, the initiative we’ve planned for are still on , irrespective of some changes or limitations due to the change in local situations and rules . 

We are willing to assist our Community in this time of need . 

Please , keep in touch with the fellow community members ( electronically ) . 

Feel free to share your thoughts . 

Let’s continue to support each other ( including our neighbours) , as we’ve always done .

Dear Fellow Community Members, 

This is a difficult time we’re facing right now. Thinking about your health, the health of you children, and the health of your parents/grandparents in these uncertain times – it is scary.

Please, in this time, ask for help. We are a close knit community. We have shown that time and again. When people are sick, we bring them food, or help them around the house. When a member of the community needs assistance, we have come forward. When people in Bangladesh or wider Australian community needed us to stand tall and contribute in however shape or form, we did. And in this current crisis, that is what we should continue to do.

If you are self-isolated or immunocompromised, or live with people who are, ask for help. If you can’t go outside, we will get your groceries. If you need another roll of toilet paper, we will find one for you. If you are stressed and scared, we will be there with a shoulder to cry on (1.5m apart of course!). There are so many people who are here to help.
