Dear Perthbasi and sports lovers,
Hope you all are doing well.
We are pleased to inform you that we have got huge responses from the WA cricket community and started the t20 winter cricket competition 'PBC All Nations Cup' with 30 teams. We initially received responses from 37 teams but 7 teams later withdrew their name due to the player shortage and Covid-19 related issues.
We are honored with this response and we are also grateful to WACA, Cricket Australia and specially to our community members & local sponsors for their kind support from the very beginning.
Brief Intro with 'All Nations cup' –
> Total Teams: 30 teams from different communities
> Total players registered with this competition: 600 players
> Total T20 matches: 165 matches
> Total duration: 14 weeks (started from 28th June – Sundays only)
> Total Umpires involved: 15 umpires in current 'PBC umpire panels
> Total Grounds hired: 8 grounds across Perth Metro from 4 different city council
> Total prize money: $10,000.00
> Live streaming – total 8 matches including grand final
> Total 3 Bangladeshi teams participating in this competition (out of 30 teams) – Royal Bengal, Perth bengal Club (PBC) and PBC Green.
> This T20 tournament is run and managed by Perth Bengal Club Incorporation and we have been running t20 cricket competition for the last 8 years.
EoI for Umpires: We are looking for registered umpires to join with our umpire panel. So if you have a certificate and enjoy umpiring then please contact us (perthbengalclub@gmail.com).
EoI for Players: We always welcome cricket lovers from any age group to join and enjoy cricket with PBC. So feel free to contact us if you or your kids are interested in playing cricket.
