Anyone interested to check some real issues…???
The Israel-Palestine conflict is often described as the most
complicated territorial dispute on the world map.
For decades, leaders and scholars from the two sides have often talked
about each other instead of talking to each other.
Yet if peace is to be achieved, barriers must be broken.
With this noble vision in mind, for the first time, we have taken the
initiative to bring together the leaders and scholars from Australia’s
Jewish and Palestinian communities to the negotiation table.
It is my pleasure to invite you to attend our upcoming forum The Great
Debate ‘Israel-Palestine: Is Peace Possible?’ at 6.30pm on Thursday
17th May 2018.
The venue will be disclosed via email closer in time once you RSVP.
This is a rare chance to see representatives from these two
communities share a platform together and explore ways to achieve
peace.
We know that the pen is mightier than the sword. Let’s hope that
forums like this are one day not the exception, but the norm.
Refer to the flyer for details.
Email Policy.Chair@wa.liberal.org.au now to secure your spot for
FREE.
If you are making reservations for multiple people, make sure you
include all their names in your email.
I look forward to seeing you on Thursday 17th May 2018.
