Multiple catastrophic bushfires are burning across Australia, particularly in NSW, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland Western Australia and Tasmania. Fire is spreading quickly with strong winds, and everyday new areas are being affected by fires, often started with lightning. A map of fire and road conditions are attached.
Air quality at places are 15-20 times above hazardous level. To control the dangerous and prolonged fire, decision has been made to deploy Australian Defence Force to assist the firefighters.
In this evolving emergency situation, all of you are advised to stay safe, continue monitoring the conditions around you and take appropriate action.
