I’m very pleased to let you know that we are almost there with our targeted collection amount of $6000. Thank you very much for your generosity! The response was overwhelming and just proved the inherent strength of our community and the willingness to stand together in times of need!
If any of you haven’t donated yet but would like to donate, then I request you not to do it anymore. We have received communication from Mustaque’s family to use the money he might have left in his bank account or selling any assets that he would have owned before his death. This could be a lengthy process but WA Police are involved to ensure all legal requirements are met. We will update you once we have clear picture of everything!
Mustaque’s funeral would be held as soon as the Coroner’s Office release the body which is most likely this Thursday or Friday, a separate email will be sent to notify you venue and time details.

Mustaque’s family in Bangladesh have already authorised to conduct the burial process here in Perth (see attached email) and now preparations are underway to conduct it sometime next week. Assalamu alaikum WRWB
It is with great sadness I wish to inform you that Mr Mohammad Mustaque Ahammed has passed away at Beachborouh early morning on 09 June 2019. He was about 41 yrs and 5 months. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajeun.
I have spoken with his brother-in-law Mr Ashraf, in Dhaka right now and they are very sad and devastated to know this news. He left his parents (Father 80 and mother 75 yrs old roughly), three brothers and two sisters and lots of relatives and well wishers.
Please make special du’a so that May Allah (SWT) grants Zannatul Ferdous for the departed soul and strengthens the mental and spiritual status of the bereaved family members to absorb this huge shock… Ameen.
You have might read an email from Brother Baquer about this sad news. After that, I have received lots of phone calls and ask me how can you help as a community member. We came to know just yesterday and we are trying our best to get all things done as soon possible.
Some useful information given below for all of us for taking into consideration. Pls see below who is doing what to do it as humanly as possible.
· Saidur Rahman has been contact with late Mustaque’s family members in Bangladesh and he has updated me now. So we can now move on with the funeral procedures.
· Brother Baquer will coordinate with Coronial investigation group and update us on that issue on Monday.
· Brother Kabir Talukder will identify the dead body and receive him accordingly might be on Monday or Tuesday.
· Brother Motiur has taken care of the burial processes and all are sorted Alhamdulliah!.
· Brother Sabbir Hussain will circulate an email to collect some donation to cover the expenses (Brother Motiur was informed with this figure. This might be little bit less, but I don’t know the exact no. yet $6050)
· Brother Sibly has been contacted with the relevant brothers for this matter.
Funernal date and time will be announced through perthbashi and other means for your information and necessary action to attend the Salaatul Janazah.
May Allah SWT bless us all in forgiving all short comings!.

I just had contact with the coronial investigation team member and inform them that we knew him and we r ready to take his body for funeral process. They took my contact but they will not proceed until Monday inshaAllah. So please no one required to call them for identification. I’ll let you know inshaAllah on Monday.
