Registration for MYSport program is now open and it is Free!
BAAWA is excited to announce the First Phase of the Multicultural Youth Sports Project (MYSport). MYSport is a sports-based youth project to be organised by Communicare aimed at promoting positive development for young people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) backgrounds. BAAWA, along with other partners of this initiative (WACA, Football West, Volleyball WA, OMI, Communicare etc) will steer the direction of this program.
Program Details:
Age group The program is aimed at 12-17 year olds, and will be split into males & female activities.
Dates 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 August and 7 September 2017 (total 6 days).
Time 4.00pm to 6.00pm
Place Cannington Leisureplex, 233 Sevenoaks St, Cannington.
Activities Soccer, Cricket, Basketball, First Aid, Self Defence, Leadership, Table Tennis and Volleyball.
Cost FREE
Dinner Will be provided to the participants after every session.
IMPORTANT: In the program, the sessions are split into 2- the first hour will be a sport and the second hour is more of personal development activities. If an individual wants to attend they need to be there from 4pm-6pm, they are unable to turn up at 5pm to partake in the second half of the session.
