Dear community members,
The biggest Bangladeshi cricketing event of the calendar- Community Shield 2018 is coming up soon. This year the Mangement Committee has decided to try an EXCITING NEW FORMAT! Instead of the traditional 4-5 teams taking part in the Community Shield, we will get all the names of Bangladeshi Cricketers in a list and then form 3-4 similar strength teams through a lottery system! This is the first time any community cricket event will be held with such collaboration.
So if you are a Bangladeshi cricketer living in Perth, WE NEED YOU! If you are interested please send us an email at with your Name, phone number and skillset (batsman/bowler/allrounder).
If you know of anyone who would love to take part in the event please pass on this email to them!
We want all the Expression of Interest via email by the 24/10/2018. We are planning to host a LIVE lottery with all the players present on Sunday the 28th October (Time and venue will be confirmed soon).
The tournament schedule will be published once we have finalised all the players.
