Dear parents and childrens,
Assalamualiekum.
We are gradually approaching first Sunday of the Ramadan programs.Childrens should take active part in the program reciting some sura or presenting a topic in the light of the koran and hadith. They should give emphasis on the pronunciation of the words with zer, zabar, maud etc. They also must be aware where to stop and where one may not stop of an ayat of Koran, otherwise the meaning of of that particular ayaat may be distorted. The sura that they will recite and the topic should have to be short and precise so we can give more time to our learned speakers to deliver their talks and we can get more things from them to learn. In the tablig zamat the people are advised to prepare ten suras at the minimum in a proper way in their training session with a view to use these in their daily prayers. One’s boyhood actually is the good and best time to memorise small suras which they can use in their daily prayers in their whole life. And another aspect is to know about the meaning of the suras because it is easier to concentrate on our salah provided we know the meaning of what is being recited of the the sura . Further it is said that we can get reward of that part only of our salah on which we concentrated. It is also said that “Khushu” or humility is a prerequisite of a prayer and accuracy of a prayer is dependant on humility.Hazrat Muaz ebne Zabal[r:] , Sufian Sauri and Hasan Basri[r:] opined that without ‘khushu” or humility there could not be any prayer. So concentration is something which is most needed in our prayer for the sake of humility. And we can only concentrate provided we know the meaning of the sura.
However, I would like to request all parents to help and equip their childrens so they can feel confident in taking active part in their program.Childrens who will take part in their program are asked to register their names ahead of the program on the scheduled date.
I would like to invite all brothers and sisters hindu, muslims, christens, boudha all alike to come to the Murdoch uni worship centre to join the series of the events on every Sunday at 3.30 pm. Our Nazmus Sadat Shibly who is in charge of the preparation and entertainment of food would arrange chicken for those who will not eat meat.
Mr. miyan Shahjahan would be pleased to act as a program conductor.
Kind regards,
Nazmul Ahsan
