[perthbashi] Building Healthy WA - soccer and fitness training organised by BAAWA Sports - Bangladesh Australia Association of Western Australia

Dear Perthbashi,

BAAWA Sports is going to organize a soccer and fitness training program starting from 12 August at Canning Vale Oval. The soccer training program will be an excellent learning / upskilling opportunity for girls and boys aged between 12 – 17 from Bangladeshi and other communities. A concurrent fitness training program (no age limit) will be held at the same venue. Both sessions will be supervised by professional coach/trainer.

It’s a FREE event. BAAWA Sports has received 2017/2018 Community Participation Funding- Metro from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries. The project title is Building Healthy WA.

Soccer training details:

Who can participate? – Anyone aged between 12 – 17
Who is the coach? – Jonny Warrington and Jamie Anderson from Bayswater Football Club
Where and when? – Every Sunday 3:00PM – 4:00PM at Canning Vale Oval
How many sessions? – at least 8
Entry fee? – FREE

Fitness training details:

Who can participate? – Anyone who is generally healthy and has no major medical condition
Who is the trainer? – Andrea from Testarossa Fitness (tentative)
Where and when? – Every Sunday 3:00PM – 3:45PM at Canning Vale Oval
How many sessions? – at least 8
Limit? – maximum 20 persons
Entry fee? – FREE
