Dear Community Members,
Greetings. The presentation of the Annual Cultural Program 2017 is just a night’s sleep away. The wait is nearly over.
A huge effort has been made to plan, organise and execute the program. It would be unfair not to mention the relentless effort and commitment made by Bapi Mazhar, the cultural secretary of BAAWA, and his team to make this happen. They have been extremely passionate and dedicated in organising a magnificent show, in which, a large number of children have been included as performers. The children have been toiling for months to hone on their talents. They are all very excited to display what they have rehearsed over and over. The second half comprises of songs, dances, recitations, skits etc. of a very high quality, and of course performed by a variety of community members.
The ‘out of stage’ officials of BAAWA have meticulously planned and executed their responsibilities down to the last detail. They are all ready.
Snacks and drinks will be on sale during the break (around 8:30 pm), but please be reminded that it is strictly prohibited to be taken or consumed inside the theatre. The theatre authority has also imposed strict requirement for the lid to be removed before handing the snack containers to the customers. Please assist the volunteers in this respect.
It is requested that the following housekeeping rules are observed at all times during the show:
• Please do not park at the parking spots reserved for the guests. Parking map is attached below highlighting the guests parking area.
• Ushers will be provided at all entry points of the theatre, they will collect the ticket butt for the raffle draw and guide you to your seat. Please only sit in your designated seat.
• If your ticket number comes up in the raffle draw, you need to show your ticket to win the prize.
• Please do not go to the back stage or green room area.
• Please do not allow children to play alongside the isle area or next to the stage.
• Pleases throw all rubbish in the rubbish bins provided in the foyer area.
Hope you all have an enjoyable experience. See you tomorrow at 6:00 PM for commencement of the program at 6:30 pm sharp.
Best Regards
Naweed Omar
