What an incredible day it was for the BAAWA community!

We were truly mesmerized by the overwhelming turnout at the Banglar Mela 2026. Seeing so many of you—people from all walks of life—come together with such love, enthusiasm, and pride for BAAWA has been deeply inspiring. Your presence once again proves that BAAWA is truly your community organisation—a place that belongs to everyone.

This year’s Banglar Mela was, without a doubt, the largest and finest, in terms of participation, the number of stalls, and the incredible variety of food and cultural items. We estimate that close to 3,000 people joined us. The addition of the book stall as a new feature was also a wonderful success, adding a new dimension to our celebration.

Events of this scale do not happen on their own—they are the result of dedication, teamwork, and countless hours of effort.
