Pathshala Bangla School is an independent volunteer initiative of Bangladesh-Australia Association of Western Australia (BAAWA) to teach Bengali language and numeracy. The self-funded school has been operating since September 2010 and managed by a School Management Committee comprised of volunteer teachers, parents and community members.  The School is supported by the Office of Multicultural Interest (OMI), Government of Western Australia. The teachers have gained experience by teaching in the school for several years and participation in workshops and conferences on Community Languages organised by the OMI.

Class Schedule & Venue  3.30 pm to 5.30 pm every Sunday on school terms at Canning Vale Community Centre, Cnr Waratah Blvd and Eucalyptus Blvd.
