Dear Community Members,
A language is not only the tool of communication but also a very special, sensitive part of a culture and values. A language helps to build the community which eventually leads the formation of a nation as the case in Bangladesh. Ekushe February, the language movement day has been well recognised by the nations of the world and in November 1999, was declared as International mother language day (IMLD) by United Nations General Assembly.
This year BAAWA is going to celebrate the IMLD on Saturday 23rd February 2019 at Cockburn Youth Centre in Success.
BAAWA is delighted to open an Expression of Interest (EOI) for cultural program to be performed on the day; EOIs are requested in the following categories:

· Master of Ceremony/announcer (both in Bangla and English)
Please be noted,

· No instrument to be used on stage; karaoke (track) should be used at all items.
Please submit your EOI/s to: culture@baawa.org.au
